   Interested in competing?! There are plenty of events happening throughout 2010 and there is now a new incentive for all Verve Martial Arts students - the Verve Champions League 2010.

   A points system has been put together for those who compete at tournament based events (applicable events are listed in the I.T.S. Events Calender) Points will be awarded as follows -

1st Place - 100 Points

2nd Place - 50 Points

3rd Place - 25 Points

   As an additional incentive, 10 points are awarded per event for taking part (not finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd) and if you attend our monthly Verve Martial Arts squad training session in Droitwich you get an extra 5 points per session - there are 12 in 2010 so you can gather an extra 60 points just from training!

   The cumulated points will create a league table and come the league closure on 19th December 2010 the top points earners will get trophies. Short cuts to the current 2010 league tables are as follows - please click the one you would like to view -

BOYS - Aged 15 years and below

GIRLS - Aged 15 years and below

MEN - Aged 16 years and above

WOMEN - Aged 16 years and above

VERVE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2009 (FIRST YEAR)

   The Verve Champions League is open to all students who are licenced to and represent Verve MA, all ages, gender and abilities. In addition, points can be earnt in any of the competitive categories of sparring (full contact, light continuous and points), traditional patterns and kata as well as the freestyle forms, destruction and teams!

    For entry into some of our own selected 2010 events you can earn 'Double Points', where you will earn 200 points for a 1st place, 100 points for a 2nd place and 50 points for a 3rd place finish - make sure you attend and rack up those points!
